TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETING IN TURKEY ( 3-5 October, 2018)
The second teachers’ Transnational Project Meeting was held in Turkey on 3-5 October 2018 as planned before. 14 teachers (two from each partner country) took part in the meeting. The main topic of the meeting was to evaluate the general course of events and the project itself.
On the first day, the partners met at the hosting school, Hacı Murat HaticeÖzsoyAnadoluLisesi. After a brief presentation of school and welcome reception, the meeting was started.
MINUTES OF THE AGENDA
· The project is going on very accurate without any major or minor changes.
· The LTTAs to Greece and Latvia were of great success. The treasures presented were very well planned and prepared.
· After each meeting a detailed report is written by the hosting country in ten days following the meeting.
· A photo story of the meeting will be prepared by the hosting country and be uploaded on the project’s website.
· All the visual materials presented in the meeting or any other information to be put on the website will be sent to Mr MükreminBadem, the IT teacher of Turkish school. He will be responsible to upload them on the website.
· The materials,school presentations,lesson plan etc will also be published on our project’s Twin Space on eTwinning.
· More teachers from each school and from different branches should be members of eTwinning and take part in the activities as much as possible.
· Surveys related to the project among students should involve as many as students as possible. Not only the students who were on mobilities but also the ones in the project team should take the surveys.
· When matching the students as hosts-guests, a detailed description/information from the guest students should be requested (like field of interests, allergy to any food or sth, tolerance to pets at home etc) and the matching should be done more precisely.
· The dates for the next mobility (to Italy) has been decided on 18-22 March, 2019 and the mobility to Bulgaria is on 13-17 May, 2019.
· A detailed questionnaire about the project will be prepared and applied to students and the results will be sent to Mrs Monika Mandinska,the project coordinator.
After the session of the meeting, all teachers had lunch with traditional food prepared by students and parents at school. After that the afternoon was spent in Çeşme sightseeing the town. In the evening the teachers attended to dinner organised by the Director of Education of Çeşme,MrSuat AGI.
The next day , the Ancient city of Ephesus, The House of Virgin Mary and a traditionally authentic village of Şirince were visited and cultural aspects of the host country were presented to the guests by a guide.
The last day of the mobility guests were taken to the city of İzmir to visit some culturally rich places like ancient Agora, Old Caravanserai,covered Market and museums.
The last night there was a formal dinner and the participants were given their certificates.
